Prof., Dr. Igor Yakymenko

Professor of Environmental Science at the Department of Biochemistry and Environmental Control of the National University of Food Technologies (NUFT), Kyiv, Ukraine, PhD and DrSc in Biological Science. He has a long-term research and teaching experience in assessment of environmental risks of anthropogenic activities, including environmental impacts of the Chernobyl catastrophe. During the last years, Prof. Yakymenko has been studying and teaching environmental aspects of sustainable development, national and European environmental policies. He has been elaborating and implementing lecture courses on Sustainable Development Strategy; and Environmental Policy of the European Union for Master's students in Environmental Science at NUFT. Prof. I. Yakymenko has long-term successful experience of international research collaboration. In 2008-2009, he has been a Fulbright Visiting Scholar on Environmental Risk Assessment research project at School of Public and Environmental Affairs, Indiana University, USA. He has been collaborating with colleagues from Masaryk University, Czech Republic, University of Kuopio, Finland, and European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder), Germany. As a Jean Monnet Module coordinator, Prof. Yakymenko will coordinate a successful fulfillment of the project by all team members, will take part in elaboration, implementation and teaching of lecture courses and summer schools, will participate in project website running and online course implementation. Prof. Yakymenko will coordinate research activities in term of the project as well.

Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Biotechnology and Environmental Control, National University of Food Technologies. PhD in Biotechnology. She has experience in international research and educational collaboration with colleagues from the European Union. Participant of Jean Monnet schools and a member of the organizing committee of the International Conference on European Dimensions of Sustainable Development. Member of the public organization "Ukrainian Biosafety Association".

Prof., Dr. Anatoli Giritch

Prof., Dr. Anatoli Giritch

Research Director, Nomad Bioscience GmbH, Germany. PhD in Cell Biology. He has a many year experience of effective running of R&D projects in NOMAD Bioscience GmbH, an R&D biotechnology company, which develops innovative product candidates for multiple healthcare markets. He is experienced in both research project management and in close collaboration with business partners. He has great communication skills and has been an active participant of a few promotional activities of European research projects for Ukrainian universities.

Ass. Prof., Dr. Mariia Galaburda

Associate Professor, Department of Veterinary Sanitary Examination, National University of Life and Environmental Science of Ukraine, Kyiv. PhD in Biological Sciences (Human and Animal Physiology). She has experience in international research and educational collaboration with colleagues from the European Union (the Netherlands), participated in international events in recent years. Her methodological and communication skills and experience will favor the successful project implementation.

Ass. Prof., Dr. Yevhenii Shapovalov

Senior Researcher at National Center Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and Government Expert at Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. PhD in Biotechnology. He has international research collaborations with scientists from the USA, Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic. A team member of the Jean Monnet project on Enhancing European Union Studies and Research on Smart, Sustainable and Inclusive Growth in Ukrainian Universities (2019-2022). An active participant of Erasmus+ events in Ukraine. He has expertise in project management and professional skills in website design and development.
