T1.1 Organizational meetings/seminars of the Module team
Systematic organizational meetings/seminars of all members of the Module team is an important part of effective communication on team members for reaching the goals of the project. At least two meetings in-person will be carried out per year. At the beginning of each academic year the first meeting will be dedicated to arrange current plans and organizational issues of the new academic year in terms of all activities of the project. The final meeting of the year will provide a deep analysis of last year activities, challenges, results and possible changes and improvements for the next year. Also, online meeting of the Module team for discussion/analysis of the progress of the Module will be carried out monthly.
T1.2 University teaching course on European Union academic project management
The teaching course for the first year PhD students of all PhD programmes at National University of Food Technology, Kyiv, Ukraine will comprise 40 academic hours and cover key aspects of EU policies and best practices of academic project management, including project cycle management, contract and financial management, consortium management, time management, reporting and effective communication, and other. The course will be significantly based on EU official documents, academic programme guides, including Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe guides, relevant analytical reports and publications. Case studies will include best practices in European academic project management and academic project proposals.
T1.3 Jean Monnet Winter School on European Union Academic Project Management for young university teachers and researchers
The annual Jean Monnet Winter School at National University of Food Technology, Kyiv, Ukraine will involve young teachers and researchers from Ukrainian universities. The 36 academic hour agenda of the School will cover key aspects of EU policies and best practices of academic project management. The agenda will be significantly based on EU academic programme guides, including Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe guides, relevant analytical reports and publications. Special sessions of the school will be dedicated to effective project proposal preparation for different EU academic programmes, effective communication and teamwork. Significant contribution into the School agenda we expect from the Module team member Dr. A. Giritch due to his longterm experience in successful management of EU funding research projects. Also, invited speakers from the EU universities will share their first-hand experience in managing EU funding academic projects.
T1.4 Jean Monnet Summer School on European Union Academic Project Management for NGO representatives and civil servants
The annual Jean Monnet Summer School at National University of Food Technology, Kyiv, Ukraine will involve representatives of civil society and civil servants. The 36 academic hour agenda of the School will cover key aspects of EU policies and best practices of academic project management and oriented on needs and opportunities for civil society and NGOs. The agenda will be significantly based on EU academic programme guides, including Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe guides, relevant analytical reports and publications. Significant contribution into the School agenda we expect from the Module team member Dr. A. Giritch due to his long-term experience in successful management of business-oriented research projects. Also, invited speakers from the EU universities will share their first-hand experience in managing of EU funding academic projects and its social effects.
T1.5 Analytical research on EU academic culture, academic project management, and effectiveness of EU funding projects
Analytical research on EU academic culture, academic project management, and effectiveness of EU funding projects will be carried out during the lifetime of the Module by both the Module teaching team and PhD students involved into research. Research activities will be coordinated by academic coordinator Prof. Yakymenko and will result in 3 peer-reviewed articles, and 9 reports at international conferences and forums, including reports of PhD students – learners of the Module.
T1.6 Online promotion of the Module activities and outcomes
Online promotion of the Module will support all activities and provide visibility and dissemination of the Module results. The website of the Module will include timetable of the Module, teaching materials, including relevant EU documents and guides, analytical reports and scientific publications. The university teaching course and the Jean Monnet school materials will be posted on the website and will be available everyone. Also, research activities and results of the Module will be presented here. Dr. Shapovalov will be in charge of website due to his high IT skills and experience. Also, all team members will provide informative support of the website and relevant promotion of the Module activities on social media. The website will be active after the formal end of the Module.
